IMPORTANT NEWS!!

Howdy people! :)

I have created a new blog! The adress is as follows: http://inkismadagascar.blogspot.com .
PLEACE NOTICE that Madagascar is written with a "c", because it is in English. Also notice that my adress is no longer blogSPIRIT, but blogSPOT! Big difference! :)

While I'm in Madagascar, this blog that you're looking at now will not be used. This means that you don't need to check this blog for updates, just concentrate on my life in Madagascar! :) Understand?

I hope that you will check my new blog regularly, and I promise to update it as often as I can! I will be VERY happy if you write comments on what I write, once in a while. Be critical if you want to! :)

Well, all that's left to say now is: Enjoy my new blog, and don't forget me while I'm in Africa! :)

One week and a day at Hald

Here are some pictures that describe some things I have done this week. The pics are taken by Thueng Thueng from Thailand, who has taught me a little Thai-boxing! :) I have taken some pictures myself as well, but they are not on my computer yet. In the meantime you can enjoy these! :)697f6880ee236536b37e6f7a02f92077.jpg

Life at Hald

From now on my blogs will be in English, so everyone, including my grandparents, can understand. :)
I have now started Hald and I'm having a wonderful time! I took the bus from Stavanger with Eline (who's going to Cameroon). The busdriver didn't know where to stop, so he drove all the way to Mandal centre. That meant we had to walk a distance carrying our heavy sacks and pulling our suitcases. In addition to this, I had my laptop-bag over my shoulder. Well, the adventure was beginning. After having walked for a while, we decided this was too heavy and too hot. So we started to hitch-hike. It took a long time, and finally we found out that I had a piece of "matpapir" (paper in which I had had my packed lunch). We wrote "Hald" on the paper, and finally a car stopped, because the driver realized we were not going very far with all this luggage...

Anyway, we got there safely, and met all the students one after another. There are people from Uganda, Kenya, Madagascar, Bolivia, Peru, Brasil, Serbia, Thailand, Laos and of course Norway! :) With all these nationalities we have to speak English, but we also get to practise French and Spanish! I'm sharing a room with a Malagasy girl who's also 19, a Norwegian girl who is going to Kenya, and Eline, the girl I'm going to Madagascar with. (Yes, there are two Eline's, so just try to keep track! ;).

The days here at Hald are very social. Living with 66 other students, we have a lot to do after the lessons. We play volleyball, football, boardgames etc... Yesterday evening we watched a film in the auditorium on a big screen. Great fun! :)
Today we are going to the beach! :) Some of the people from Africa have actually NEVER swam before! So this will be interesting! :)

Well, got to dash now, having an info-meeting at 11 o'clock, which is now! :) See you later, and please comment on my blog, I love to hear from you! :)
